The need was simple…gather the best information from multiple databases and put it together in a way that is useful to the client.  The solution was Vertex.

Vertex was started in 2002 in direct response to a client need. The founders, Joy Lindsey and Jeff Verderame, were working for separate companies but shared mutual customers. They were often asked why neither of their companies offered a combination of the two services since it would benefit an entire industry. It seemed like a darned good question. We took the suggestion of a combined process back to our respective companies and, in each case, were declined. Rather than disappoint our client we developed our first solution. Filling that need became the foundation for Vertex – and we’ve been creating successful solutions ever since.

Today, Vertex sells targeted marketing leads, name/address/telephone verification, DNC screening, wireless screening and many other cool data-related services.
